An MBA degree is highly valued in the business world, and sought after by professionals for various reasons, such as career advancement, increased earning potential, and acquiring essential skills for managing or starting a business. But what exactly is an MBA Professional?
An MBA Professional is a specialized program designed for busy professionals who already hold a postgraduate qualification and wish to complete their MBA. This pathway enables individuals to “top up” their existing qualifications and earn a full MBA degree.
For instance, professionals who have already completed a master’s degree can obtain an MBA by meeting the remaining requirements, which typically involve completing a business dissertation and earning the final 36 credits. This streamlined approach allows candidates to achieve a full MBA while leveraging their prior academic and professional experience.
a) Academic Qualification: Master’s degree in Commerce or Economics with a minimum CGPA of 2.5
b) Work Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience
c) Language Proficiency: Strong English writing skills

A) Pre-Recorded Classes on Strategic Business Analysis
- Complete 8 online pre-recorded classes and submit solutions for 2 case studies on topics such as marketing strategy, pricing strategy, and branding. This phase typically takes 1 to 1.5 months.

- Neuro Marketing
- Risk Analysis
B) Enrolment in the Business Dissertation
- Participate in 2-3 sessions (a combination of pre-recorded and live Zoom classes) to receive guidance on drafting your business dissertation.
- Submit your dissertation proposal to Douglas Business School via email. Topics will be selected based on the submitted proposals.
- Prepare the dissertation within a 3-month timeframe, submitting drafts periodically for review. The final report is due at the end of the 3-month period, with results typically published within 1 month of submission.
