Eligibility to join
The Professional Internal Auditor (PIA) program is designed for accounting, finance, audit, compliance, and risk management professionals seeking practical knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, and international audit standards.

- COSO Internal Control Framework
- Control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring
- Internal controls for operational, financial, and compliance risks
- Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls
a) Planning
- Risk-based audit planning
- Audit objectives, scope, and programs
- Understanding business processes and risks
b) Fieldwork
- Audit testing and evidence collection
- Sampling techniques and documentation
- Identifying control weaknesses and audit findings
c) Reporting
- Preparing professional audit reports
- Communicating audit findings and recommendations
- Follow-up and corrective action monitoring
After completing the PIA Course, participants will get prestigious Professional Internal Auditor (PIA) certification and become a proud member of the esteemed Institute of Strategic Management & Finance (ISMF), USA. |  |
PIA course is accredited by the Skill Development Council Canada. After successful completion of the course, participants can obtain a Professional Diploma in Internal Audit (PDIA) from SDCC. (Fee CAD 55 $) |  |
